I live in beautiful Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada, and work in nearby downtown Vancouver. I happily claim a little corner in an animation studio in Gastown, where I have somehow managed to get paid to draw and colour cartoons since 2011.
I married my soul mate and best friend in 2011 and currently we have 2 cats, enjoy hiking around our house, and staying up late sharing cups of (perhaps too strong) coffee.
When I am not drawing, colouring, jogging or hiking, I love to have conversations about faith & LGBT issues, classic Hitchcock films and why the latest Tim Horton’s commercial makes me cry with joy. “Aww, the dad DID come to his soccer game!”
I am fascinated by life and all that surrounds us. I believe there is beauty in everyone, life is way too short to waste, and that a smidgen of kindness can indeed go a long way.

“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
– William Penn.
